I had some minor depression when I was in my early teens. I had a few friends that were also diagnosed with depression, and then a very good friend of mine had an endocrinologist who diagnosed him with hypothyroidism. I took this medication for about 4 years. I was fine, he was fine, and he didn't seem to be getting any worse. He had a very stiff neck and was always in the mood. He was doing a lot of work. He was very good at calming down my mood. I didn't have a problem in my life and I wasn't worried about him any more than I was about anything else... I felt very isolated and depressed.
I was prescribed this for an anxiety disorder, and was put on Strattera (atomoxetine). The last 4 days of treatment was a nightmare. I was in so much pain that I couldn't sleep. I also had a bad headache. I took it for about 6 weeks and it was awful. I was feeling really weak and weak. I was feeling a little bit like a zombie for a couple of days. I was so nervous that I couldn't sleep. I was scared to go to the ER because I felt that I had something to do with it. I knew I wasn't going to get through the night, but I was worried that I was going to die because I was taking Strattera. I had to get help from the doctor who said he was going to get me to the ER so I could try and talk to someone else. I couldn't sleep for the rest of the next 2 days. I was going through the motions. It was awful, and I had to take Strattera. I felt like a zombie. The pain was horrible. I had terrible pain in my stomach and my throat was really sore. I thought I had a tumor in my esophagus. I was so afraid that I would have that cancer, but I knew that I was going to be okay. I was going to go to the ER and talk to someone, but my life was so different than it was before. I was so afraid that I would have to go to the ER because I felt so horrible. The only way to get rid of all this pain was to take Strattera, which I had no control over. I was so scared that I would have to go through this again. I just took the medicine and thought it was over... I was going to die because of this. I had to go to the ER and talk to someone else.
